Price Suddarth is an American Choreographer/Dancer currently based out of Seattle WA. Price began his dance education first with the Central Indiana Dance Ensemble (2005-2007), followed by the School of American Ballet (2007-2009), and finally on scholarship with the Pacific Northwest Ballet School (2009-2010) where, upon graduation, he received a contract with the Pacific Northwest Ballet. In 2012, he was chosen as one of Dance Magazines Top 25 to watch. Since joining the company, Price has originated leading roles in works by choreographers such as Marco Goecke, Victor Quijada, and Twyla Tharp. Additionally, he has performed featured roles in works by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Alejandro Cerrudo, Justin Peck, Mark Morris, Christopher Wheeldon, and George Balanchine.
His choreographic career began at the School of American Ballet's student choreographic workshop in 2007. From there he has worked with regional companies in various parts of the country. He has also participated in the Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2011, 2013, and 2014 Next Step performances (formerly the Choreographic Workshop). In 2012, Price was commissioned to create a ballet for the Pacific Northwest Ballet School's Annual School Performance. He has been asked to present his works at the 2012 Regional Dance America Gala performance, the 2014 Chop Shop: Bodies Of Work Contemporary Dance Festival, as well as various showings at Seattle's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

In 2018 Price was promoted to the rank of Soloist with the company. In 2011, Price was nominated for a Princess Grace Award in dance, and in 2012, he was chosen as one of Dance Magazines Top 25 to watch. Since joining the company, Price has originated leading roles in works by choreographers such as Marco Goecke, Victor Quijada, and Twyla Tharp. Additionally, he has performed featured and leading roles in works by William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Alejandro Cerrudo, Justin Peck, Mark Morris, Jessica Lang, Christopher Wheeldon, Kent Stowell, Jerome Robbins, and George Balanchine.
His choreographic career began at the School of American Ballet's student choreographic workshop. From there he has worked with companies across the United States including numerous creations for The Pacific Northwest Ballet and PNB School as well as The New York Choreographic Institute, Kansas City Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Ballet Sun Valley, Olympic Ballet Theater, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, University of Oklahoma. and the Colburn Dance Academy (Los Angeles).
Throughout the pandemic, Price shifted his 15-year long career of developing new choreography for the stage to the digital one. During this time he created over a dozen film works through collaborations with the Kansas City Ballet [Corridors, Chapter One: 7.10], the University of Oklahoma [Signature Film] and the Pacific Northwest Ballet [The Intermission Project (a nine part film series), Other World]. As a new dance film maker, he began to identify the challenges facing independent artists and sought to create an opportunity to elevate their voices to a level playing field. Using his position as a dancer with the Pacific Northwest Ballet he conceived, developed, and directs the PNB Dance Film Festival. Price is also currently in the process of developing a television show to air on the EVRGRN Channel. With a viewer base of nearly 5 million people, EVRGRN provides an incomparable opportunity for independent artists to reach an international audience.
In January 2022 Price was named the winner of Milwaukee Ballet’s Genesis: International Choreographic Competition. Price was invited by Ballet Sun Valley to create a new work in July 2021 as the festivals first ever commision. In March 2019 Kansas City Ballet premiered their first original work from Suddarth titled White Noise. April 2019 Tulsa Ballet premiered First Light.
Price participated in the Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Next Step performances [formerly the Choreographers Showcase]. In 2012, Price was asked to create a ballet for the PNB School's Annual School Performance [TIME OUT]. In November 2015, Pacific Northwest Ballet premiered Signature, the company's first original mainstage work by Suddarth which made its return in June of 2019. In June 2016, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet premiered their first work by Suddarth, limit[LESS]. Price was invited to participate in the 2016 Fall session of the New York Choreographic Institute where he created Holding Pattern. Also, in 2016 He created one of the first works made solely for Virtual Reality through a partnership between PNB and pioneering VR software company PIXVANA. The VR film Silent Resonance was featured at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival and noted as one of YouTube’s top videos of 2017. In August 2017 Price created Shifted Figures—a site specific work with the dancers of Seattle's TheYC for Sculptured Dance, a program organized by PNB and The Seattle Art Museum. He has been asked to present his works at the 2012 Regional Dance America Gala, the 2014 Chop Shop: Bodies Of Work Contemporary Dance Festival, the 2015 Seattle International Dance Festival, as well as various showings at Seattle's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.
